Posted by: | CommentsLast night was a bittersweet evening. Commissioner Sharon Ray announced that she would not be seeking a third term as Medina County Commissioner. However, we have a good, conservative Republican to run for the position. Kathryn Truman made her official announcement that she was in the race for Commissioner.
We also collected 288.4 pounds of food for the Medina County Food Pantry.

Healthcare Forum
“Finding
the right solution for our healthcare system”
We all agree that healthcare reform is needed. The question is –
what type of reform? While those in Washington are pushing for the
government to play a larger role in our healthcare system, many
people are questioning its impact on our future care. If you would
like to learn more about the issues surrounding the healthcare reform
debate, please join us for a free community healthcare forum.
Date: Tuesday, July 21, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Location: Four Points Sheraton Hotel Akron West, 3150 W. Market Street, Fairlawn
Topic of discussion:
We will explore the realities of government-run healthcare and how it
will impact our future healthcare system. The town-hall-style forum
will include a panel of doctors and other medical professionals, who
will cover a variety of topics from access to treatment and long-term
cost effects to quality of care.

The Akron/Medina Healthcare Forum is hosted by a collation of local
conservative groups, including Medina Tea Party Patriots, Summit 9.12
Project, Medina 9.12 Project, Cleveland Tea Party Patriots, Mansfield
Tea Party Patriots and Canton 9.12 Project. It is one of four that
will be taking place in Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland,
